Developer Blog : January 21, 2005 - 3:51 PM

A new developer's blog has been launched to allow up-to-the-minute updates on where things stand on Miraserver 2.0 development. The hope is that this new feature will take the mystery out of where things stand with development on 2.0.

Happy New Year! : January 5, 2004 - 12:17 PM

Hello everybody! I hope everyone had a great couple of weeks for the holidays, and likewise I wish everyone a happy and successful 2004!

2004 promises to be a great year for Miraserver as a product. In the early part of the year, the next major release of Miraserver will be released. Work is still under way on this version, and you can catch several hints in the online forum as to what will be done in that version. Many key changes will be made in the next version, and its very exciting.

So, just a word for those keeping track, while this site may seem a bit slow at times, things are not still behind the scenes.

Lastly, I have posted a new visitor survey. It is linked at the top of this site. The survey is designed to give us a better idea of what people are looking for in a CMS as well as attitudes regarding websites in general. I would HIGHLY appreciate you taking a few minutes to tell us what you think. Your feedback makes more difference to the future paths taken here than you may realize. And you most definitely do not need to be a license holder of Miraserver to take this survey. It is open to anyone.

Thanks all.

User Survey : October 13, 2003 - 9:47 PM

I have posted a survey in order to ascertain the needs and wants for a content management system. This survey is open to anyone interested in content management systems. You do not need to be a license holder of Miraserver. If you come to our website just to evaluate Miraserver as compared to other CMSes available, we are still very much interested in your feedback. It will help guide the future of Miraserver.

The survey is linked at the top of the site, or directly by clicking here.

As for development news, progress continues on the next major release of Miraserver. The next release will be a big one, incorporating many usability and user interface changes (the primary layout is not changing), vBulletin 3.0 integration, numerous internal changes (this is almost a complete re-write on the code level), improved forum integration, activity logging, etc. The changes are actually too many to mention in detail at this point. But, work is well under way and I hope to release the next major release within the next month.

If there are any questions, feel free to post to the forums or contact me.

Template Section of the Manual Posted : September 24, 2003 - 12:19 AM

It took a little longer than I had planned, what with all I have going on here, but I have posted the template section of the Miraserver manual to the website. It is available to registered users of Miraserver via the members area of this website. To view, log into your members page and click on the "Manual" link at the top of the page.

Thanks for your patience on this, and I hope this documentation irons out some common confusions with the Miraserver template system.

"Just wanted to tell you what a fantastic job you've done with MiraServer. I have been looking for something like this for over a year and had actually twice tried to get it developed from different programmers each of who cost me over $400 and turned-in a result that didn't even have a quarter of the functionality that MiraServer does for $160."
